esparma Pharma Services - all in one boat for children in need

On 03 August 2019, the 5th Magdeburg Charity Dragon Boat Cup was called "All in one boat for children in need". Committed people from regional companies paddled on the Salbker See II. At this sportive and fun event the teams compete in an extraordinary sport and at the same time do good by collecting donations.

The biggest charity event in Saxony-Anhalt is organised by the water sports club Buckau-Fermersleben e.V., the Pink Pocahontas and the MAPP-Empowerment gGmbH to promote ELTERN-AG - a programme to support families in particularly stressful situations.

esparma Pharma Services was involved in 2 dragon boat races with a total of 20 employees and made it to the finals.

In the run-up to and during the event, donations totalling a record 30,904.92 euros were collected. The donations will be used to support the ELTERN-AG programme to promote equal opportunities for children in difficult living conditions. The sponsor of the programme is MAPP-Empowerment gGmbH, which thus strengthens those families and helps them to recognise, develop and use their parental skills.

Since the beginning of the year, the Primary Healthcare Center in the Beeka Valley in Lebanon has been one of the projects of the Pharmacists Without Borders association. The healthcare center, located 15 km from the Syrian border, ensures access to medical care for Syrian refugees and those in need within the Lebanese population.
