About Aristo Pharma
As a pharmaceutical company operating throughout Europe, Aristo Pharma focuses on the targeted further development of proven active ingredients, as well as their production and distribution—typically under its own brand. The Group’s in-house production sets it apart from most German pharmaceutical suppliers: 91% of our medicines come from the EU, and we produce 70% of them ourselves.
Today, approximately 1,400 employees in 13 countries are committed to ushering in a new era beyond generics. Our goal: to provide treatments that are safe, effective, and practical for everyday use.
Our product portfolio ranges from prescription and over-the-counter medications to herbal remedies and modern medical devices.
In addition to its corporate headquarters in Berlin, the Aristo Pharma Group operates three production sites—in Hilden, Wernigerode, and Madrid—as well as its own logistics center in Osterweddingen, Saxony-Anhalt.
Aristo Pharma is committed to the systematic improvement of existing therapies in Germany and Europe. Across a total of four state-of-the-art sites, we integrate development, production, and distribution. This enables us to lay the groundwork for the targeted analysis and further development of treatment solutions.
The Aristo Pharma Group combines manufacturing, development, and a family-owned structure. With a forward-looking perspective and comprehensive technical expertise, we are always one step ahead of the market in terms of strategic direction.
Uniform quality standards, which are subject to continuous monitoring, apply at our production sites in Germany and Spain. We place particular emphasis on the protection of our employees and the environment. That is why we operate in accordance with the strict guidelines of “Good Manufacturing Practice” (GMP).
The Aristo Pharma Group operates internationally: We currently have our own offices in 13 countries. From these locations, we serve additional markets and distribute pharmaceuticals under our own brand.
For us, the discovery of a new active ingredient is just the starting point—on the path to the best possible treatment. We believe there are countless established treatment methods for which we can further reduce side effects and improve compliance and convenience.
We believe in a new era beyond generics, in which both healthcare professionals and patients have a choice among a range of improved treatment options and thus do not have to make compromises.
Our guiding principle, “Beyond Generics,” sums it up: the targeted optimization of proven generic active ingredients through innovative formulations, dosage adjustments, and delivery systems to significantly reduce side effects and increase treatment adherence (compliance) and patient comfort (convenience).
Our focus on people in need all over the country and support for selected organisations with financial and in-kind donations has been part of our identity and our company philosophy for many years. As well as being active in the social sector, we also support sport, education and culture on a regional level.
A project particularly close to our hearts is the Caritas Medical Van. As our headquarter is located in Berlin, we really value the importance of supporting and taking responsibility for the citizens of our local area. In order to support the work of the voluntary doctors, nurses and social workers, Aristo Pharma sponsors the Caritas Medical Van for the valuable and essential work they carry out.
The van helps homeless people, those without health insurance or patients who feel too ashamed to visit the doctor's surgery. The Caritas Medical Van is there to help them. The van fitted out as a simple treatment room and has been in use since 1995.
The team are committed to seeking out people in the places they live: emergency shelters, soup kitchens, warm rooms, train stations and in-crowd locations. On Monday and Tuesday afternoons, the van sets off looking for homeless people in need.
