On 8 September 2025, the second Aristo Social Day of this year took place. As part of its commitment to social responsibility, a team of seven rolled up their sleeves and got to work at the railway station mission at Berlin Central Station. Armed with paintbrushes, paint and plenty of good cheer, they gave the entrance hall and corridor of the facility a fresh coat of paint, transforming it into a friendly, welcoming environment.

The facility at Berlin Central Station is an important point of contact for people in difficult life situations and offers a wide range of support every day: from counselling sessions and a warm drink – especially in the harsh winter months – to free WiFi and computer workstations. The ‘Mutmacher am Bahnhof’ (Encouragers at the Station) project opens up additional perspectives and shows new ways forward. Here, people are treated as equals, with respect and warmth.

The Aristo Social Day team received a warm welcome from Annette Meyns, head of the Berlin Central Station Railway Mission, and her dedicated team of volunteers. They impressively conveyed how important their contribution is to the community – and how much every bit of support is appreciated.

Social Day has once again demonstrated how valuable it is for companies to work together and actively contribute to the common good. This not only produces visible results, but also encounters that encourage and open up new perspectives.
